What is the Purpose of Going to School?
There is a huge disconnect between what young people learn in school today and the jobs available out there. Our institutions of higher learning have failed our youths.
We want to change that. We believe that the best way to do that is to empower youths with the necessary skills in high demand today. We need to re-imagine education.
The real purpose of going to school is to be able to earn a living and put food on the table. Education is not just about getting a degree. It is about becoming employable after training. It is about getting the skills to open your own business after you graduate and employing yourself and a few other people. It is about making lives better!
We want to transform the way education is delivered. We want to focus more on what our graduates are able to do after the training, and less on the degree/diploma. Our students focus more on building great apps to showcase in their portfolios. Investors and employers today want to see what you have already built. That’s the power of project-based learning.
